Roger Federer may be best known as a seven-time Wimbledon singles champion and the winner of 17 Grand Slams, but he owes his love life to the Olympics. The tennis star met his future wife Mirka Vavrinec, a fellow Swiss tennis competitor, at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. Vavrinec retired in 2002 after a foot injury and now works as Federer’s p.r. manager.
The couple welcomed twin girls Myla and Charlene in 2009, and Mirka will watch as Federer competes for another Olympic gold in London.
