The finale to the opening ceremony of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver didn’t exactly go according to plan. The intent was for five Canadian sporting legends to light the flame, but speedskater Catriona Le May Doan didn’t get her moment in the spotlight. She gamely saluted the crowd, but she must have been burning up inside.
